Ombra Di Pantera

Ombra Di Pantera

Set to become the sparkling of choice, Ombra Di Pantera Prosecco 2017 Superiore DOCG is made using only the finest Glera grapes.

DOCG is the highest classification for Italian wines, defining controlled production methods and guaranteed wine quality. Within the Prosecco-producing region in northeast Italy, only vineyards found between the towns of Conegliano and Valdobbiadene are given DOCG status, due to winemaking methods that have been refined over a 1000 years and the steep hills that require harvesting by hand.

The world’s love for Prosecco is on the rise, sales in the UK are outstripping Champagne.

Francesco Vanoli, founder, Ombra Di Pantera, commented: “only now are we becoming aware of the different qualities of Prosecco available. Francesco continued “As with all things luxury we’ve built our product on genuine craft, provenance and heritage. Success for us isn’t about selling millions of bottles but rather more tapping into a mindset and curiosity of a public that have largely been starved of the best quality Prosecco there is. It’s our passion to ensure that we educate consumers to enjoy the best Prosecco around.

Ombra Di Pantera also produce a limited edition sparkling rose, OMBRA DI PANTERA ROSÉ EDIZIONE SPECIALE Brut (NV)

Captured through a traditional, secondary fermentation to produce a fine, persistent perlage. Dry, fresh and light in the mouth, soft and well-balanced, with good aromatic length and a memorable, fruity finish.

Both the Prosecco and Rose are in a league of their own, outstanding and exceptional bubbly from this beautiful region.

Ombra Di Pantera has an authentic heritage.

In ancient times traders who served prosecco in Venice’s Piazza, San Marco, would follow the shadow of the campinile to prevent their wine from getting warm, and the expression ombra de vin , meaning wine’s shadow, can still be heard when prosecco is ordered in its original heartland.
