Region X OVC – W.O. Swartland (Previously known as Swartland OVC)
The warmest site in our portfolio of wines shows in this rich & ripe Old Vine Chenin. We harvest a larger portion of this vineyard earlier during the season to ensure sufficient acidity and freshness. The sun however shines through this wines beautiful yellow colour. The fruit profile is yellow with classic ripe Chenin flavours, developing into a deeper intense yellow with age.
Soil: Shallow Sandy top-soil with an iron rich gravel sub-soil
