🍷Tasting Notes: Barbera d’Asti DOCG is one of the most well-known appellations in Piedmont. The grapes come from 60-year-old vines, 30% of the fermentation takes place in large barrels and 70% in stainless steel vats to maintain freshness as long as possible. The wine is bottled after 12-14 months. Barbera is a dark-skinned grape that produces a ruby-hued wine with bright cherry flavors and soft round tannins.
